FINAL DRAFT CARICOM REGIONAL DOCUMENTS FOR THE COCOA SECTOR – VSS AND GAP

The Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards (TTBS) is pleased to advise that the CARICOM Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality (CROSQ) has issued the following Final Draft CARICOM Regional documents for VOTING:

  • FDCRS 87: 202X – Voluntary Sustainability Standard for cocoa products and chocolate – Requirements
  • FDCRCP 12: 202X – Cocoa – Good Agricultural Practices

These draft regional documents were circulated for Public Enquiry over the period 2026-06-23 to 2026-09-01 and all comments received were resolved.

TTBS, as the national standards body for Trinidad and Tobago, is inviting stakeholders to review the draft documents and submit their recommended voting position per document: acceptance or non-acceptance of the final draft documents. A technical justification is required for non-acceptance of the final draft documents.

Please note that comments will not be reviewed by CROSQ at this stage of the regional standards development process.
