The Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards (TTBS) is in the process of revising its National Standardization Strategy (NSS) which is a prioritized listing of standards to be developed over a three year period (2024 – 2027).
The primary objectives of the NSS include the following:
- To ensure that the standards work programme is based on a clear understanding of national priorities(economic, social and environmental)
- To ensure adequate input from a wide cross section of stakeholders
- To ensure sufficient resources to implement the NSS
The NSS promotes the development of standards to support economic diversity, sustainability and the growth and development of various sectors.
TTBS invites all stakeholders involved in the following Sectors to attend the relevant virtual Stakeholder Consultations which would comprise a series of polls to help us better understand your standardization needs.
