The Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards (TTBS) will be hosting the thirty-fifth (35th) Meeting of the Council of the CARICOM Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality (CROSQ), as well as a technical workshop with the Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) on “Building a safe infrastructure for Electric Vehicles” over the period 1st to 3rd October 2019.
About CROSQ
CROSQ is a regional inter-governmental organization established in February 2002 to facilitate the development of regional standards, promote the harmonization of metrology systems and support the sustainable production and trade of goods and services in the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME).

Objectives of the Council of CROSQ
The CROSQ Council comprises the Directors or Executive Directors of the National Standards Bodies within the CARICOM region. The Council meets twice a year to address high-level strategic and policy issues related to the development of the Regional Quality Infrastructure which includes standards development, metrology, accreditation and conformity assessment systems.
