Description

This standard sets out requirements for the labels of any pre-packed substance that is manufactured, represented, supplied or used as a means of directly or indirectly adding nutrients to the soil or supplying nutrients to plants or both. It is applicable to all fertilizers, including processed manure in packages of all sizes that are sold to end-users. This standard does not apply to soil conditioners or ameliorants, customer-formula fertilizers and unprocessed manure.
