Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for the grading of pumpkins (Cucurbita pepo, C. moschata, C. maxima and C. mixta), which are commercially grown to be supplied fresh for trade in the local and export markets.
It also contains requirements for labelling, packaging and sanitary requirements for pumpkins.
This standard does not apply to pumpkins for ornamental use or industrial processing.
