Description

Scope:

The standard specifies requirements for garment construction. It includes requirements for various components, features, constructional details, finishing, and presentation of outerwear and underwear garments.

This standard applies to the following adult and children garments:

a) coats – including jackets, jac-suits tops and bush jackets;
b) dresses;
c) shirts – including blouses;
d) skirts;
e) trousers – including, pants, shorts, culottes;
f) sleepwear including pyjamas and nightgowns;
g) foundation garments -including panties, bras, briefs, lingerie and active wear;
h) swimwear; and
i) crochet garments.
