World Metrology Day recognizes the vital role that measurement science plays in ensuring accuracy, quality, innovation, fairness, and confidence in decision-making across all sectors of society.

As part of this year’s celebrations, the Metrology Division hosted the WMD 2026 Challenge, which highlighted the importance of metrology and encouraged greater public awareness and engagement.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Small and Ms. Campbell, the overall winners of the World Metrology Day 2026 Challenge. Their outstanding performance and enthusiasm are truly commendable, and we celebrate their achievement with pride.

We also thank them for joining the Metrology Division at the Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards to commemorate this special occasion and celebrate the importance of measurement in building trust and confidence in policy and decision-making.
