The Grenada Bureau of Standards (GDBS) in collaboration with the Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) will be hosting a national consultation on December 4, 2014 at the Conference Room of the Bureau of Standards. This consultation is held as part of field programme activities under the objective ‘Strengthening Capacity for a Rapid Response to Food Safety Events through Enhancement of the Food Traceability & Recall Legislation and Systems in the Caribbean Sub Region’.
The objective of this project is to assist the Governments of Antigua & Barbuda, Grenada and Dominica in strengthening their capacities to respond to food safety events by enhancing the Food Traceability and Recall Legislation, which should be the final outcome of the project. Consultants from the FAO will be in attendance to assist with the facilitation of the activity.
