It also specifies labelling information to beplaced on the appliances as well as information to be placed on the packaging for such appliances.<\/p>\n<p>This standard applies to appliances intended for use at either of the following nominal supply voltages:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>115 volts, with a relative tolerance of \u00b1 6 %; or<\/li>\n<li>230 volts, with a relative tolerance of \u00b1 6 %.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>NOTE\u00a0 These nominal supply voltages have been declared by the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&amp;TEC) in their publication entitled \u201cWiring for Light and Power\u201d.
