Saira Knox of the Metrology Division of the Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards (TTBS) (4th from the right) and Treina Dinoo of the Air Pollution Unit at the Environmental Management Authority (EMA) (2nd from the right) participated in a project sponsored by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) entitled “Preparatory workshop for an inter-comparison of atmospheric pollutants” in Buenos Aires, Argentina on May 29th – May 31st 2018.
This pilot project is one of the sub-projects in the “Promoting Innovation in the Green Economy by including Quality Infrastructure in Latin America and the Caribbean” portfolio and is launched to increase the reliability of measurements of atmospheric pollutants in urban centres. Both TTBS and EMA are committed to the work of the project which is scheduled to end on January 2019.
