A world without international standards? (mashup 2015). Here’s a fun mashup featuring some of the entries to the #speakstandards video competition organized by IEC, ISO and ITU to celebrate World Standards Day (14 October).
The new revision of the standard which outlines requirements for a quality management system was published on 2015-09-15. This is the result of more than three years of work by experts from nearly 95 participating and observing countries. ISO 9001 is ISO’s flagship standard, with over 1.1 million certificates issued worldwide.
The standard which sets requirements for an environmental management system was revised and published on 2015-09-15. This is one of the world’s most popular standards for environmental management with more than 300 000 certificates issued globally. The revision was completed by 121 experts from 88 countries who were assigned to ISO’s technical committee.
