Accreditation: A Global Tool to Support Public Policy
June 9, 2015 marks World Accreditation Day as a global initiative, jointly established by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), to raise awareness of the importance of accreditation.
This year’s theme focuses on how accreditation can support the delivery of health and social care.
TTLABS hosted its annual assessor meeting and luncheon on January 5th 2015. Accreditation bodies are expected to organize periodical activities to update and harmonize Assessors, Laboratory Accreditation Committee (LAC) members and Technical Experts to discuss specific issues related to assessment and accreditation activities. This promotes improvement in the accreditation process.
